The News reports daily that we are dealing in a recession.  Somedays we are in recovery and somedays it worsening.  The economy has been hit hard, especially in the area of the country.  People are experiencing lack in their finances, resources and opportunities.  Never before has the ego been so thoroughly crushed than it has been right now.  Fairfield was rated one of riches counties in the United States.  During the late 80s thru to the 90s, the Northeast was a great place to be with the internet explosion.  Work was plentiful and corporate America was booming!  There was no real need for anyone to start their own business just go out there and get a job.  The internet has proven to be a useful tool if used correctly you can find valuable information and earn money.  If you use it improperly you can lose relationships, jobs and even go to jail.  The information age is no longer king.  With the vast source of information that was available to us, we became consumers no longer creating new products or services that could benefit the world. Computers and the internet has given us the opportunity to connect virtually and globally.  You can live in the virtual world but you can’t thrive. 

Action, interaction with flesh and bone, we need the human touch the human connection.  I remember once taking it for granted when I was in Corporate America.  One evening I attended a church service and a woman said to me she was glad that she came to the service because she had gone all week without human touch all week, and then she proceeded to hug me.  And I was like what is your deal?  That statement…. It made me feel uncomfortable. My reality was filled with the human touch, I was in meetings all week long, doing meets and greets talking and connecting with people, shaking hands giving and receiving pats on the back.  So basically I was pretty felt up already.  But this lady was living alone and had no job, no family.  She was alone, until she reached out to people.  Babies when they are born require the human touch, it nourishes them. So why would this effect stop as we grow older?   As business owners reaching out is crucial for our survival.  We need the interaction and then progress to a transaction.  And it’s the transaction that allows us to do more to circulate out time, energy and money.

We all have an unlimited supply for all that we need.  The key is in the recognition and action.  It’s your perception and attitude that will define you level of success in your life.  When you take a hard look at your reality is it a hot mess, work progress or is it great!  There is greatness in all of you.  But it you who must declare your greatness and be willing to declare it to the world.  Starting with your immediate circle your family and closest friends.  Whatever you are marketing to the public be sure that you clearly communicate that idea, product, or message to your inner circle.  Even if they don’t support you right away.  Tell them what you do and how you help people.  Especially your kids they can become a support and resource to you.  This happen to Bill Walsh, CEO of PowerTeam Int’l.  Bill is a business coach, writer and speaker.  Some of Bill’s clients are Mark Victor Hansen Co-Author of Chicken Soup of the Soul and One-Minute Millionaire Series and Brian Tracy - Author of Million Dollar Habits and The Traits of Champion Series.  Bill’s son Austin followed in his dad’s footsteps of coaching business owners, because Bill discovered his son’s ability to use Social Networking.  Austin asked his Dad if he could throw a party at home and Bill said sure not expecting much from his son because he had small group of friends.  So he said sure, fine with me.  The next thing he knew 100 kids showed up at his house.  Bill was curious how did his son know all this kids? Social networking using facebook and twitter.  With his son, Bill created another revenue stream using social networking with facebook, twitter, and LinkedIn etc.  Now his son travels all over teaching social networking strategies to business owners through his Bill's company.  Bill could have easily ignored his son’s ability and lost out on lucrative opportunity.

How often do you put out a request, an idea or notion that you’d like to see manifested only to ignore the opportunities?  Or do you even dare to ask?  Each year I create a vision, that expands to a list of wants, desires and dreams.  And I write them in my personal publication book called a journal, each item on the list is measured on a continual basis.  I have a radio show – Abundance with De Boone and it has been going on for 3 years originally it was supposed to be 13 week run during the summer of 2007.  I am a communicator and radio is a communication tool.  Being on the radio has proven to wonderful experience.  My vision is create a five fold multi-media company.  And video is my next venture for this year.  A few weeks ago I received an email from a friend about Oprah running a contest looking for the next TV Talk Show Host.  I thought this was pretty cool! All I had to do was shot a video and post it online and then her producers would pick the contestants for a Talk Show Reality Contest and thus the winner will land their own show.  I spoke to a few friends about the project and within 7 days I had my video shot and posted on Oprah’s website.

Prior to my vision for doing video/TV, I had no knowledge of Oprah’s project, no video camera and no editing software.  What I had was the right perception and attitude towards creating the video.  I had no second guessing, I kept walking and talking towards it; Taking Action.

Visualization, Affirmation and Broadcasting are the power tools use to take action toward manifesting what you want in life.

Visualization- creates certainty in your mind and body

Affirmations – reinforces your beliefs

Broadcasting – sends out clear positive messages that support your vision

It’s your perception and attitude towards your vision that will succeed or fail pending on the action steps that you take.  First take an assessment of your environment, stop and take a look around you.  Are you where you want to be?  If your answer is no, and you are resenting are you are physically, mentally and emotionally, then you are in for the long haul.  The more you resent something the stronger it becomes, because you are focusing in on it.  If you the answered yes. I like my surrounding and then you are in a state of appreciation.  It's your feelings that get  the blessing, so remember to feel good.  Your perception gives you an outlook, your attitude is the fuel that moves you forward or back.
